So this was a list that I made on my 23rd birthday of 24 things I wanted to accomplish. There was no time frame on this list - its always cool to see what I accomplished and how God answered prayers. But this list shows me that there’s still a lot left to do.
- Take a modern dance class and then choreograph an entire routine. (Cz’s best dance crew…what a project!)
- Add $1000.00 to my savings by 2008.
- Make another documentary {no formal documentaries but I did make 2 lengthy slideshows. I’m gonna count that.}
- Tithe on a regular basis. {New job in June helped a lot – with a salary that didn’t change, I could budget in my tithe accurately…I was halfway there!}
- Go wine tasting in Napa Valley and eat really good carne asada tacos with the twins. {Went to Napa Valley, but had no wine. I’m ok with that.
} - Read the entire Bible. (finished the new testament and finished 1 kings on the last day of december)
- Share the gospel with at least one person (outside of Hillcrest).
- Finish compiling the cookbook that I started and then print it. {This project morphed from being a cookbook to being a blog: http://aquartofgrace.wordpress.com }
- Vacation in Maui, Hawaii.
- Become a member at Lighthouse.
- Learn how to file taxes. (But doing it by myself should have been a complete different bullet point.
) - Visit my cousins in Iowa, and introduce Stace to Diman in SF. (They found each other and I saw them together in SF!)
- Cook that lobster dinner for Longford and Paul.
- Hike in a national park.
- See NYC …and take in a BROADWAY show. Oh my gosh…that would be a DREAM.
- Pray for AACF-UCI Core on a weekly basis and pray WITH Tiff and Anna at least once a week. I can no longer pray WITH them, as they are no longer in SD with me, but I praise God that I can pray for them now.
- Be more transparent and honest during small group. (Of course, can always improve upon this.)
- Stop gossiping all together.
- Backpack through Europe while I am still young. (2011, here we come!)
- Three times a week, make the effort to record five things that i’m thankful for in my journal.
- Read “The Cross Centered Life”, “Don’t Waste your Life”, Desiring God” and “The Pilgrim’s Progress”.
- Put more effort in to building up and edifying the body of Christ. My first strategy is to write really good birthday cards to people (just like Lil!)
- Consider how to glorify God daily!
