Yep, I’m a reader. I wouldn’t say that I am necessarily “well-read” but I am deeply influenced by words - spend anytime in my blog and that becomes obvious. And these are writings that have shaped my mentality and aided me in developing a God-centered world. I quote often from what i’m reading, but here’s a list of the books I mention often – so while there are many more worthwhile books to mention, these are the ones that i have ACTUALLY read and I would recommend:
The Gospel & Discipleship:
- The Pursuit of Holiness – Jerry Bridges
- Don’t Waste Your Life -John Piper (if you haven’t thought about what you’re going to do with your life, start here.)
- The Gospel Primer – Milton Vincent
- Humility – CJ Mahaney (this is a life-changer!)
- Today’s Gospel – Walter Chantry
- God is the Gospel – John Piper
- My Utmost For His Highest – Oswald Chambers
- The Joy of Fearing God – Jerry Bridges
- For the Sake of His Name – David Doran (Very instrumental in developing my mentality towards missions & church planting)
- The Cross Centered Life – CJ Mahaney
- Nothing But the Truth – John MacArthur
Matters of the Heart: Biblical Womanhood & Relationships
Lies Women Believe – Nancy Leigh DeMoss (a book often endorsed by Baywood House)

Becoming a Titus 2 Woman – Martha Peace
Disciplines of A Godly Woman – Barbara Hughes

The Chronicles of Narnia – C.S. Lewis

Anne of Green Gables – L.M. Montgomery

Matilda – Roald Dahl (for the days when I just feel like being silly)
A Little Princess – Frances Burnett (my favorite book from childhood)
Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen (how I love Ms. Austen, and I love how she wrote Elisabeth Bennett)
